Bio:Darce Costello, EdD, MPH, MBA is an associate research scientist in the Biostatistics Core at the Program on Aging in the Geriatrics Section of the Department of Internal Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. She is a lifespan developmental psychologist and applied biostatistician with expertise in life course research methods and innovative analytic methods. Guided by the principles of social epidemiology and an ecological approach to promoting optimal health across all stages of development, she has collaborated with diverse investigators on various interdisciplinary research and evaluation projects, including psychosocial interventions for people living with dementia and their informal caregivers, instrument development, and health care systems analytics. Dr. Costello earned master’s and doctoral degrees in human development and psychology from Harvard University, a Master of Public Health degree in epidemiology and biostatistics from the University of Connecticut, and a Master of Business Administration degree in investment finance from the University of Hartford.
