Bio: Lori Frank, PhD, is a senior scientist with the RAND Corporation, addressing methods for incorporating the consumer perspective into healthcare and valuation. She founded the PCORI Evaluation and Analysis Program. Prior to that she was Executive Director, Center for Health Outcomes Research, United BioSource Corporation where she managed scientific and financial performance of the Center. While there she initiated and served as principal investigator of the Cognition Initiative of the Critical Path Institute Patient-Reported Outcome Consortium. She completed her Health and Aging Policy/American Political Science Association Congressional Fellowship with a placement at the National Institute on Aging. Dr. Frank is currently President of ISOQOL, a member of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America Medical, Scientific, and Memory Screening Advisory Board, and serves on the Board of the Personalized Medicine Coalition. She received her Doctorate in Human Development/Gerontology from the Pennsylvania State University and her MA in Biopsychology from the Johns Hopkins University.
