SUMMARY:Long-Term Care Data Cooperative Informational Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Long-Term Care Data Cooperative is launching a new series of informational workshops for researchers!\nJoin members for the first session on:\nThursday\, September 19\, 2024\n1:30 PM ET \nJoin the interactive session to: \n\nDiscover how to leverage the LTC Data Cooperative for your research\nUnderstand the application process\nExplore the types of studies suitable for these datasets\nGet your questions answered\n\nThis session will be led by Elizabeth White\, APRN\, PhD\, Assistant Professor at Brown University School of Public Health\, and Stephanie Kissam\, Executive Director of the LTC Data Cooperative from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. \nGoverned by the AHCA/NCAL and funded by the National Institute on Aging (NIA)\, the LTC Data Cooperative\, provides free access to person-level electronic medical records (EMR) data from thousands of skilled nursing facilities and assisted living buildings. This data\, linkable to Medicare and Medicaid claims through the NIA LINKAGE Program\, is a powerful new resource for post-acute and long-term care research. \nThis interactive session is a great opportunity to learn how the LTC Data Cooperative can support your research projects.
