Certificate Program: Best Practices for Integrating Health Equity into ePCTs for Dementia Care
The Best Practices for Integrating Health Equity certificate program is a free online video-based training curriculum for learners interested in addressing health equity considerations when designing and conducting embedded Pragmatic Clinical Trials (ePCTs) for people living with dementia and care partners. The full curriculum is available at no cost, with a free, one-time registration on the IMPACT Learning Library.
The flexible program is a collection of 18 video training modules which address specific challenges and best practices for integrating health equity into ePCTs. It is a companion to the “Best Practices for Integrating Health Equity into ePCTs for Dementia Care” document. The content is organized into the following 6 topic-specific courses:
- Getting Started
- Community Partner Engagement
- Design and Analysis
- Intervention Design and Implementation
- Health Care System and Participant Selection
- Selecting Outcomes
Each course provides instruction on 6 best practices presented in 2-5 video-based modules (or parts). Instructors in each module provide in-depth descriptions of challenges and real world examples to illustrate best practice application.
Participants may view individual video modules or complete all 6 courses to receive a Certificate of Completion for the entire program.
