Bio
Sarah Greene, MPH, is a consultant and senior advisor to the National Academy of Medicine, providing expertise and intellectual contributions for projects related to learning health system and data sharing projects. Other recent clients include Kaiser Permanente and the Health Care Systems Research Network (for which she was the inaugural executive director). Her career in health research has focused on learning health systems, health communication, and patient- centered care. Ms. Greene brings significant expertise in building research network infrastructure to her work, blending strategy, communication, and experience in a variety of organizational settings. Ms. Greene has provided leadership on several research consortia, including PCORI’s PCORnet, NCI’s Cancer Research Network, and NIH’s Clinical and Translational Science Awards consortium, for which she co-chaired the national Community Partners Integration committee. She has authored more than 150 publications and presentations, many focused on development and implementation of multicenter research. She received both her MPH, and a BA in psychology and Italian from Indiana University, and currently resides in Seattle.
