STRIDE Consortium
Mission
The mission of the STrategies to Reach Individuals with Dementia for Embedded pragmatic trials (STRIDE) Consortium is to establish a collaborative infrastructure to improve dementia care for high-risk, high-need populations by enhancing the engagement of investigators across institutions nationwide. Through this partnership, STRIDE builds capacity by training investigators, engaging health care partners, and advancing embedded pragmatic clinical trials (ePCTs) care for people living with dementia (PLWD) and their care partners, extending the reach of this work to populations at the highest risk for adverse outcomes.
Membership
Established in 2026, STRIDE brings together partners representing a growing number of institutions and organizations from across the United States including:
- IMPACT Collaboratory
- Academic institutions
- Health care system setting organizations
- NIH-funded research networks
STRIDE Members benefit from:
- Opportunities to network, share ideas, and build collaborations among investigators and health care systems from across the nation in dementia care.
- Training and mentorship opportunities to help investigators advance their research towards conducting ePCTs in dementia care.
- Resources to strengthen and build research capacity programs to improve dementia care within members’ institutions and organizations.

Institutional Partner Members
The STRIDE Consortium partners with a broad range of institutions who serve high-risk, high-need populations of PLWD and their care partners. Leaders representing each partner institution join quarterly STRIDE Consortium virtual meetings to discuss mutual strategic priorities and direction.
Individuals Members
STRIDE welcomes investigators from any institution, at all levels, to engage with the consortium.
