Andrea Wershof Schwartz, MD, MPH, AGSF, is an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and the associate director for Clinical Innovation in the New England Geriatrics Research Education and Clinical Center at VA Boston. Dr. Schwartz co-directs the Aging and End of Life curricular Theme at HMS and is an associate professor of epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health where she co-directs the Frailty course. A national leader in the Age Friendly Health Systems movement, Dr. Schwartz serves as faculty for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, and is a recipient of the American Geriatrics Society's Outstanding Clinician Educator Award.
