Shih-Yin Lin, PhD, MPH, MM, is a Senior Research Scientist / Project Director at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing, where she leads and supports the implementation of various NIH and foundation-funded research projects. Currently serving as co-chair of the American Delirium Society Research Committee, Dr. Lin focuses her research on delirium superimposed on dementia (DSD). She is dedicated to improving care through education, technology, and non-pharmacological interventions, with a specialized emphasis on empowering family caregivers in DSD prevention and management.
