Elaine Bergman, MS, is the lead of the Communications and Knowledge Dissemination Team for the NIA IMPACT Collaboratory and a senior project director within the Palliative Care Research Center at the Hinda and Arthur Marcus Institute for Aging Research at Hebrew SeniorLife. Elaine has managed multiple non-pharmacologic clinical trials aimed at improving care quality for people living with advanced dementia in Boston-area nursing homes.

Caroline Freitas, EdM, is a project director for the Communications and Knowledge Dissemination Team in the NIA IMPACT Collaboratory. Ms. Freitas got her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in studio art from Boston College and received her master’s degree in education from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Ms. Freitas has years of experience in creating and scaling courses, programs, and resources that support the clinical research community.
