The Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Award in Aging supports early-stage clinician-investigators who have begun to establish research programs and demonstrate leadership in the field of aging research. This year’s awardees include two members from the IMPACT community!
Previous IMPACT Faculty Scholar and Career Development Awardee Cameron Gettel, MD, MHS, Assistant Professor, Yale University received the award for Development and pilot testing of a novel text messaging intervention to improve emergency department care transitions among care partners of persons living with cognitive impairment.
Previous IMPACT Faculty Sholar Sandra Shi, MD, MPH, Geriatric Specialist, Hebrew Rehabilitation Center for the Aged received the award for Strengthening Recovery – Integrating Intrinsic Capacity Care into Post-Acute Skilled Nursing Facilities.
