IMPACT Career Development Awardee, Andrew Kiselica, PhD, is among the authors of recent publication, “The mobile everyday cognition scale (mECog): development and pilot testing, which describes the development and pilot-testing of the mobile Everyday Cognition Scale (mECog), a new tool designed to measure subjective cognitive decline (SCD) using ecological momentary assessment (EMA) methods.

The innovative program was created to increase the capacity for SCD measures, which could offer critical early indicators of neurodegenerative diseases. Preliminary results indicate that mECog is both feasible and acceptable for mobile assessment. The tool also demonstrated robust psychometric properties, including high reliability, and strong evidence of convergent and divergent validity.
