Emily Largent, JD, PhD, RN, is an associate professor and chief of the Division of Medical Ethics in the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Additionally, she holds a secondary appointment at Penn Law. Dr. Largent’s current research focuses on ethical and regulatory aspects of human subjects research as well as on the experience of patients and families along the Alzheimer's continuum.
